In Heat Loss, Rodda examines image circulation on the internet and its relation to human bodies—those that look at images online and those that are rendered visible through them. The work attends to questions of speed and duration: how quickly heat is lost or retained, and how balance, or homeostasis, might be momentarily maintained within these exchanges.
