Impressions comprises video, sculpture, and works on paper. The exhibition engages the carcinogenic yet alluring qualities of household materials, including blonde hair dye, which is applied to posters depicting exotic, barren landscapes. As the dye stains the paper, it produces repeating patterns that echo chain-link fencing or trellises, introducing a visual logic of containment, filtering, and enclosure.
